How to connect Airpods to Macbook Air?

When your AirPods are nearby and ready to use with your Mac, you can use them to listen to music, use Siri or handle phone calls.




Following are the steps to connect AirPods to MacBook Air


STEP 1: With Airpods in their case, open the lid.


STEP 2: Press and hold either the setup button on the back of the case or the noise control button until the status light changes to white.


STEP 3: On your, Mac Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth.


STEP 4: Select AirPods in the device list.


STEP 5: If your AirPods support it, Click Enable to be able to say “Hey Siri” to start using Siri with your AirPods.


If you already connected your AirPods with your iPhone, they are ready to use with your Mac.


Note: Your Mac must support Handoff and you must be signed in to iCloud using the same Apple ID.


Follow these two steps to connect your AirPods with your Mac if they are already connected to the iPhone.


STEP 1: Open AirPod case.


STEP 2: Click the sound control in the menu bar on your Mac, then choose AirPods.
